SAS FUNDRAISER, 180º SOUTH

Surfers Against Sewage went to London last week to collect the Coast award for the Best Marine Project which highlighted the success we’ve had with Operation Clean Sweep. SAS have been campaigning for years to try and reduce the number of those little plastic pellets known as mermaids tears from washing into the sea from the factories, so the award from Coast was very welcome. read on to find out more.

Newquay girls enjoyed a unique shopping experience on Thursday evening at Cafe Irie with the first charity Pop Up Clothes Swap, organised by Anna Gronlund and supported by SurfGirl magazine. Gemma Fryer boosted the fundraising effort by selling cupcakes bearing the breast cancer ribbon.
