LAURA ENEVER IS WORLD JUNIOR CHAMP

Local girl Laura Enever won the Billabong World Junior Championships on her home beach of North Narrabeen over the weekend, a dream come true for the 18-year-old natural footer. Two- to three-foot waves and warm water made for a fun comp with a serious undertone – surfers who win this invariably go on to make a dent in the ASP ratings, so watch out for Laura!
