Charity Coasteer Leaps into 2013!
Coasteering fundraisers leap into the New Year and into the chilly Cornish seas!
The wind and rain did not dampen the spirits of the local fundraisers as they took to the newquay cliff’s for a coasteering fundraising event held on New Years eve.
To lend support to local Newquay surfer Jaide Lowe and to help raise funds towards her mission to represent Britain at the World Surfing Games in Nicaragua later this year, Newquay Activity Centre Director Rob Barber and his team of coasteering instructors embarked on a New Years eve coasteering challenge.
Eager supporters and spectators joined them on a dawn coasteer mission, jumping into the chilly Atlantic waters near Newquay’s Little Fistral beach.
