Halloween Masked Ball
Heartbeats are beginning to pound in excitement as the thrill of the Halloween Masked Ball reaches fever point. There have been more improvements to the Halloween Masked Ball, this year themed around the cult horror film From Dusk ‘Till Dawn. Dancers, disco kings and all-round mayhem maestros The Cuban Brothers, will be bring their show to the people with some impromptu early performances in the car park and camping areas at the ball
Meanwhile Mylo – playing his first ever set in Cornwall – will be dropping a few tunes from the groundbreaking debut album Destroy Rock & Roll and his live shows have been described as simply legendary.
Last year, when the mist cleared over the Masked Ball, there was a mountain of coats and clobber. So this year, organisers have added a creepy cloakroom by the entrance. The set up is simple; you leave your coat and other items of decoration at the cloakroom and you pick them up on the way out.
If you’re worried about the chill of the small hours, there’s now a warm relaxation zone with sofas, comfy chairs and a bar to the mix – so partygoers won’t be getting shivers of the wrong kind.
The Death Star – a nightclub inside a huge flying saucer – will be joined to the Megatron arena (curated by the team who brought you the popular Bedlam tent at the summer Masked Ball) by a cavernous tunnel to keep the creatures of the night at bay.
Finally, when dawn rises and the crypts call for the lost souls, worn out zombies will be able to rest in a specially designated area for tents – away from the maddening motorcade.
Confirmed artists include the Cuban Brothers, Mylo, Herve, The Other Tribe, Magical Bones. Brandon Bloc and Bez who will play alongside a host of national and local tunesmiths also booked to play over seven extensively themed venues.
