PATAGONIA LONDON STORE HOSTS ANNUAL SURFERS AGAINST SEWAGE RAFFLE
Patagonia is proud to be supporting this year!s annual Surfers Against Sewage (SAS) raffle with an exclusive event to be held at the Patagonia Covent Garden store in order to raise funds and awareness for the incredible work done by SAS. Founded in 1990, SAS is an environmental charity protecting the UK!s oceans, waves and beaches, via community action, campaigning, volunteering, conservation, education and scientific research. Last year!s raffle raised an impressive £20,000 with a target this year of £50,000.
Patagonia is not only hosting the event, but have also donated a prize of £2,000 to spend at Patagonia. The winner can choose from a selection of leading core outdoor, surf and sport-related apparel, equipment, footwear and accessories,
The free event takes place on 2nd August 2012 and anyone with an interest in supporting SAS and seeing how Patagonia are involved are welcome for a beer provided by Skinners Brewery and to enjoy the live music provided by the talented Matthew P with his unique brand of infectious acoustic folk pop. Furthermore, Patagonia ambassador Tom Doidge-Harrison is leaving the barrels of the western shores of Ireland for the evening to join the Patagonia and SAS teams at the event.
