Mini Bugs, Ladybirds and Fleas…
The Surf Café Cookbook is here!
Get this summer’s coolest cookbook. It’s more than just a cookbook, it’s about eating, surfing and living by the coast.
Jane Chambers was a marketing graduate working for a multi national company in the heart of Dublin. Unfulfilled with her life she ditched the city and headed off on a surf and snow adventure. While in Cornwall she met Myles who was funding his own surf and snow exploration and chefing around the world. After five years of travel together they decided to settle down and took over Shells Cafe, by the beach in Strandhill in North West Ireland.
The Surf Café Cookbook is a a result of their lifestyle choice. It is a book about cooking, eating, surfing and living by the coast. From foraging on the beach to creating the perfect brunch, the book shows you how to make fresh, fun and tasty food. The perfect food for sharing with friends after a surf, whether it’s around the kitchen table in mid winter or apres surf on the beach in summer.
Most of all, this book is for the casual cook who likes delicious food that’s straight forward to make. You won’t need to shop all day for these recipes, and most will take less than an hour to make. And the Surf Café Cookbook is more than just a cookbook, with advice and useful tips ranging from how to gut fish to making crafty home accessories for special occasions.

The Surf Café Cookbook is inspired by a little café right by the sea called Shells on the beautiful west coast of Ireland.
The area is enchanting, combining an atmospheric village with beautiful unspoilt beaches, and a vibrant cultural heritage with an energetic community. It’s the perfect place for surfers Jane and Myles Lamberth to create, cook and live an outdoor lifestyle, and they want to share this rich experience with you.
