Let the Sea Set me Free – New Zealand
Hi my name’s Rebecca Law (Bex) I’m from Mangawhai Heads in Northland New Zealand.

I grew up on the shores of Lake Karapiro Wakeboarding and Wakesurfing which took me to London where I was the only girl coaching Wakeboarding on a private lake. I’ve done my Snowboard instructors. I grew up competing in snowboarding and Wakeboarding through secondary school. I took up surfing after I left school, and I haven’t looked back since.

I have a degree in graphic design and photography. I work as a freelance photographer doing weddings and underwater portraits. My favorite thing is Surf/water photography I’ve spent the last year in the water with my camera and have had some amazing photo sessions and shoots, mermaids, sharks, dolphins, and pre sunrise surf sessions… I have a website www.singlefin.co.nz which every week showcases the best photos I’ve taken around the surf lifestyle that I live in. I am usually up pre dawn every morning getting the sunrise (its the most amazing time of the day!) and every week the best are sent out to a subscriber based email….
I have always dreamed of working for a company like ROXY so this is really the ultimate for me combining my creative, passionate and energetic personality with my love for board sports and an active lifestyle. Please help me become a spokesperson for ROXY. I have already met some amazing girls through this competition.

Check out my video most of which is filmed around Mangawhai Heads, its all filmed within the two weeks final submission time, I jumped 192m’s off the sky tower, watched the dolphins surf my local break, had our local break PUMPING, saw the sun rise every morning, went from the surf to the snow at snow planet and galloped along the beach with Parkiri horse treks.. I had the best 2 weeks filming, I had a lot of support from friends and family, its just the start for me, this competition has really got me into film and I can’t wait to shoot some more, keep an eye out on my YouTube channel www.youtube.com/user/lawbex
Please vote for my video to help me get through to the final judging round.
I am the only KIWI in the finals, the finalists were announced on my birthday so I got the best birthday present ever!
