Hi Honey… I’m home!
This guest house is fantastic. I’d forgotten how relaxing it is being here. It’s such an intimate affair with the 2 rooms down stairs, and I’m in the beautiful balcony room upstairs. Gorgeous. With a round window that faces the desert and the mountains, it perfectly frames the sunrise I can’t explain the feeling that sets you up with for the day, humbling and yet so powerful.
Having a little siesta yesterday afternoon with the balcony door open and the chiffon fluttering to reveal the black and gold of the desert felt like such a luxury, no phone, no internet, no desire to know what the rest of the world is doing. It feels like heaven. I might not come home!!!
I am so blessed, it was definitely worth all the stresses encountered along the way to get here. The last 2 nights I slept like a log… last night might have had something to do with the free bottle of Cava we were given by Lucy from ‘Amendoa’ in La Santa village, such a nice touch can’t wait to get dressed up and head down there for a meal later in the week.
I’ve been running in the desert, yoga and some strength work on the balcony (with that view WOW!), some lovely long walks. I have discovered the wonderful world of Wii Boxing… oh my goodness I love it, it definitely feeds my competetive side – who knew I have an inner cage fighter hahah!
No surfing as yet as the wind has been a bit hellish but you know what? I don’t actually mind, I’m under no pressure to do anything and it is great.

So you didn’t miss me or the mouse???x
