…So there we were sat out the back at Santa Teressa as the morning sun warmed our backs, when Linda shouted across to me… ‚ÄúHave you got any tips to improve my backhand?‚Äù
I paddled over to her ‚ÄúOk‚Äù I said… ‚ÄúThe key is speed! Don‚Äôt bottom turn straight away, but stay high on the wave, put in a few pumps and then bottom turn and set up for your top turn.‚Äù
‚ÄúRight‚Äù She said ‚ÄúI have a tip for you now…. never moisturize during a air flight… only before and afterwards.‚Äù
With that information logged I turned and paddled for another perfect left.
That is why I love being a girl… you can go from surfing to beauty and back to surfing in the space of a minute!
